Overview
UniFi Access is Ubiquiti's door access control system, managed inside UniFi. Hardware options cover single doors with one or two readers, elevator readers that authorize up to 18 floors, vehicle gates through the connected Intercom, and a single low-cost device for upgrading legacy access control. Users unlock doors, gates and elevators with NFC badges in Apple Wallet on an iPhone or Apple Watch, or with the Identity mobile app, which also gives one-tap Wi-Fi and VPN access.
Data stays stored locally, and encrypted cloud connectivity gives remote access. You manage sites, view live or recorded video and change settings from Site Manager or the UniFi mobile apps.
It suits MSPs already deploying UniFi networks that want to add door, elevator and gate access control for clients in the same system.
