Barracuda RMM Advanced Software Management is an add-on for Barracuda RMM that patches and updates third-party applications. It gives access to thousands of patches and updates from more than 100 software vendors, deployed from the Barracuda RMM platform. The add-on scans servers, workstations and other managed devices to find the patches and software updates they need. You can deploy across all customer sites or only to certain devices based on each customer's subscription, select specific vendors in advance so their patches apply automatically when released, and schedule approved patches to groups of devices at set times.

Barracuda tests and approves each patch and software update before release. Advanced Software Management data is built into existing Barracuda RMM reports, so you can confirm whether updates succeeded and share the results with customers. Barracuda's RMM page lists automated third-party patch management among the add-ons run from the RMM dashboard. It suits Barracuda RMM users who need third-party patching from the same console.
