VCF 9 is a cloud solution based on VMware Cloud Foundation.
Overview
VCF 9 is VMware Cloud Foundation 9 as offered by Fundaments, and it forms the base of the Fundaments Trusted Private Cloud in shared and dedicated forms. It is one integrated platform with a single lifecycle, a single operating model and a consistent user experience.
The stack combines compute, storage and networking; security and micro-segmentation; operations, monitoring and lifecycle management; and automation and self-service. Automated lifecycle management runs updates, patches, security and compliance centrally across the whole stack. VM-native and container-native workloads are supported side by side, so traditional enterprise applications run next to cloud-native, container and AI workloads. It suits MSPs and enterprises in the Netherlands that want a private cloud on VMware without running the platform themselves.
