Nagios

Nagios is an IT infrastructure monitoring company founded in 1999 by Ethan Galstad. It originated from the open-source Nagios Core engine, which is designed to monitor network services and IT infrastructure. In 2007, Nagios Enterprises was established in St. Paul, Minnesota, to offer commercial support, consulting, and development services for Nagios Core and its suite of monitoring solutions. Nagios provides a wide range of monitoring products and services that help organizations observe their entire IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, applications, and services. Key offerings include Nagios Core, a highly extensible open-source monitoring engine; Nagios XI, an enterprise-grade platform for streamlined monitoring; Nagios Log Server for centralized log management; Nagios Network Analyzer for network traffic analysis; and Nagios Fusion for aggregating monitoring data from multiple instances.
